Theory of Neutrality Pedogogy
In the development of the pandemic, mask work was a concern. Genesee, inspired by the Allegory of the Cave and the Theory of Forms, turned to shadow work to help students see and address their personal habits to work towards actor neutrality to find the Form of Person in their reflection.

The World is a Stage
Junior Movement students explore ensemble movement inspired by Architecture around the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, creating together using Viewpoints inspired by the repetition and scope of the spaces.

Yoga and the Actor
Genesee uses yoga and other mindful practices in her classroom to activate an actor's sense of self in space, toning non-attachment to the final product instead listening to the moment with authenticity.
